Tonight, my 15.5-month-old son pointed at a hat and said "Hat!"

I said, "Yes, you're right. And what's that on the hat?"

"Guk?"

"It's a penguin. And what does a penguin say?"

"Inix."

It's a proud day.

Congrats! It is indeed, a proud day. I've been reading you since sometime during the time Cheesefairy was pregnant with Trombone (and obviously, been reading the Cheeseblog, as well.) I'm a sysadmin at a small company in Pittsburgh, PA, USA.

I love that you include these gems of your life (particularly Trombone) in your blog! I have a 13.5 month old daughter and love watching her learn and try new things. Aren't they wonderful?

Oh, and congratulations on the new addition to the family on the way! Take care, and keep up the good work!
