Hops - 2009

I'm growing hops!

This is a close-up of the Cascade hops, which natch are coming along quite well. I've also got Mount Hood, Willammette and Sterling.

Some pictures from the end of August 2009, with my young assistant for scale. Again, these are all Cascades; I estimate there are about 100 cones.

And here we've got the harvest of 2009: 72 big grams of Cascades! There's a Harvest Ale where these are gonna end up...
