These guys are writing their own GPL'd firmware for Prism54-based wireless cards. The crazy part is that these things have embedded ARM9 cores running at 30MHz...so not only does some of their reverse engineering look familiar to me (except that, you know, they're talented :-) but you have the prospect of a wireless USB card running Linux. Crazy.

(I know, there's probably a lot of good reasons why you couldn't actually run Linux on the thing. But still!)
